NEW ORLEANS, La. - Antoinette Lewis has been named the Sun Belt Women's Basketball Player of the week for Monday, Jan. 28. This marks the third time this season Lewis has been honored with the award, and fourth time in her career. The sophomore forward from Memphis, Tenn., was instrumental in the University of South Alabama's two wins this week, putting up back-to-back 20 point games, shooting 64.5 percent from the field, and averaging 23 points and nine rebounds per game.
Lewis and the Jags battled back against ULM on Saturday afternoon at the Mitchell Center and closed the game out on a 47-9 run.
