ALEXIS SYKES SIGNS WITH WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's basketball head coach Terry Fowler announced on Tuesday that Alexis Sykes has signed her national letter of intent with the Jaguars. Sykes joins South Alabama's 2017 recruiting class of Casey Ferguson, Antoinette Lewis and Devyn Lowe, who all signed with the program in the fall signing period, and the other spring signee Jayla Morrow.

"We're extremely excited to have Alexis join our program," said Fowler. "She brings the ability to shoot the three with great range to allow us to stretch the defense. Her size and length will also allow us to have flexibility with matchups on the defensive end of the floor.
