NEW ORLEANS, La. | The Sun Belt Conference announced eight student-athletes selected to receive the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Postgraduate Scholarship, and among the selections was South Alabama volleyball player Alayna Maslinski.
A two-year letterwinner for the Jags after transferring from Christian Brothers, Maslinski earned a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from South Alabama with a 4.0 GPA. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Christian Brothers. Maslinski plans to pursue a master's degree from the University of South Alabama's Physician Assistant Program, beginning this summer, with the goal of becoming a Sports Medicine Physician Assistant.
