Year 1 of the Steve Campbell era at South Alabama begins Friday, as the Jaguars open fall camp with the first practice of the season.
The Jaguars are coming off a 4-8 finish in 2017, which led to the departure of long-time head coach Joey Jones. Campbell comes to USA from Central Arkansas, where he went 33-15 and reached the FCS playoffs twice in each of his final two seasons.
