Zidane was great, but I only had eyes for Riquelme - Pastore

The Argentina international has revealed how he "worshipped playmakers" during his childhood and wants to emulate his compatriot after idolising the former Boca Juniors star

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Javier Pastore has spoken of the influence Zinedine Zidane and Juan Roman Riquelme had on his preferred playing style during his childhood.

The Argentine provided the second highest number of assists in Ligue 1 last season with 12 - a number bettered only by former Marseille man Dimitri Payet.

Pastore admits the final pass is the part of the game he cherishes the most and revealed the two men who he looked up to as a youngster.
