Women's World Cup: USWNT's path to the title in Canada

The USA seeks its first Women's World Cup title since 1999. Goal looks ahead on the bracket to possible USA opponents, from the underdogs of China to the favorites of Germany.

On Saturday, June 20, at 4 p.m. ET, the knockout rounds of the Women's World Cup began in earnest with tournament favorite Germany defeating Sweden 4-1. Thus began the transition from group play postering to the World Cup bracket — where you win or leave with nothing but memories of Canada and turf burn.
