After a day off, the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup recommenced with Groups A and B taking the pitch. Among those back in action were the hosts, Canada, as they took on New Zealand, and the No. 1-ranked Germans, who were coming off of a double-digit victory, taking on a familiar foe in Norway.
Group B provided a matchup of two newcomers to the World Cup in Thailand and the Ivory Coast. Both sides were coming off of big losses, the Ivorians more so than Thailand.
