Ansu Fati moved from Barcelona to Monaco this summer on a season-long loan and will be hoping to impress with the Ligue 1 side.
However, he is yet to feature in pre-season for his new club. Monaco have played Cercle Brugge and Coventry so far and beaten both sides.
Manager Adi Hutter has been asked about Ansu’s lack of involvement and explained his plan for the Barcelona forward and fellow new arrival Paul Pogba.
“They’re still working on their muscles and doing physical exercises. We can’t compare their recovery,” he told reporters.
