Barcelona sporting director Deco has revealed that the club are looking to offload a center-back in the summer transfer window.
“We have five central defenders, and one of them has to go due to an excess of players,” he told La Vanguardia in an interview published at the weekend.
Ronald Araujo has been tipped to leave - as he could command a large transfer fee - and is no longer first choice at the club.
Yet Deco then launched into a fairly strong defence of the Uruguayan, suggesting he will not be on the move this summer.
