Barcelona head to Tottenham on Wednesday and, just like Athletic Bilbao at the weekend, there’s no room for summer signing Malcom in the squad.
The Brazilian has managed just 25 minutes of action for Barcelona this season, although he did miss three weeks due to an ankle injury.
Still, Valverde’s decision to leave him out of the squad is interesting. Even more so when he’s named three goalkeepers in his squad, Rafinha, Denis Suarez and young left-back Juan Miranda.
There have been some rumours that Valverde didn’t want Malcom, and RAC1 have reported that Valverde “does not know where to play and when to play him.
