A former Hammers defender has called on the Premier League club to offload the Mexico international striker when the transfer window opens
Former West Ham defender Tony Gale has called on the club to sell striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez in January to help fund the purchase of a new forward.
The Hammers currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, as the club have struggled to settle on a first-choice striker in 2018-19.
Hernandez has been one of the options manager Manuel Pellegrini has tried up top, but the Mexico international has failed to put together a consistent run of form.
