West Bromwich Albion Part Ways with Alan Pardew After Run of 8 Defeats

West Bromwich Albion announced the club have "parted ways" with manager Alan Pardew on Monday after a run of eight successive Premier League defeats, with assistant John Carver also departing.

The club's website said first-team coach Darren Moore would step into a caretaker role.

A statement read: "The Club would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours."

Pardew was brought in as manager in November as a replacement for Tony Pulis, but his attempts have been unsuccessful as West Brom sit at the bottom of the Premier League, 10 points from safety.
