Wenger: Wilshere injury not as bad as first feared

The prognosis on Jack Wilshere's latest injury may not be as bad as first thought, according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere could make his recovery from a hairline fracture to his left fibula within three to four weeks.

The England international picked up the injury in a collision in training, and the initial prognosis was that he would miss "several weeks".

It is the latest in a long line of problems for Wilshere, who has been plagued by fitness concerns over the past few years.
