That is certainly how Al Wehdat goalkeeper Amer Sahfi’ will be feeling after his incredible blunder in an AFC Cup match against Saham earlier this week.
The goalkeeper seemed poised to receive a relatively routine ball that had spun up into the air, yet somehow he contrived to misjudge its flight and allow it to spin out of his hands and, according to the assistant referee, over the line.
