Having Smashed Leicester City to the top of the Premier League, Jamie Vardy is on his way to becoming a legend in certain parts of England, and his fairy-tale rise has seen him named one of the 'Heroes of 2015', according to a survey.

Opinium Research polled over 2,000 and the Foxes striker ranked in at ninth place, ahead of Edward Snowden, the former United States Government contractor who leaked classified information to the public.
