Sydney FC were denied the opening goal in the A-League grand final against Perth Glory after VAR failed to overturn an offside call.
Michael Zullo was adjudged to have been offside in the 28th minute when he played in a ball that was bundled home by Matthew Spiranovic under pressure from Adam Le Fondre.
Resulting replays however suggested Zullo was onside but VAR ultimately decided a clear and obvious error wasn't made and didn't overturn the decision to disallow the goal.
That non-call leaving even those not supporting the Sky Blues shocked as VAR once again makes headlines in an A-League grand final.
