EDMONTON, Alberta -- The final score says the U.S. women’s national team won 2-0 last night at Commonwealth Stadium. However, it was the upstarts from the 28th-ranked team in the world who earned a different kind of victory -- and may be one that points to changes the U.S. will have to consider if it wants to reclaim its reputation as the most powerful team in women’s soccer.
