United States Under-20s clinch World Cup knockout round spot

A 4-0 victory against New Zealand sees the United States U-20s into the next round.

The United States Under-20 side clinched its spot in the knockout round of the U-20 World Cup with a 4-0 victory against host New Zealand.

Manager Tab Ramos made four changes from his team's 2-1 win against Myanmar to open the tournament, bringing Arsenal prospect Gedion Zelalem, LA Galaxy forward Bradford Jamieson IV and Tijuana's Paul Arriola into the attack.

The changes paid off, as the United States came out enthusiastically and found the back of the net in the sixth minute.
