The opening day of the Premier League season saw Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur, and that provided the remarkable sight of three United goalkeepers—David De Gea, Victor Valdes and Anders Lindegaard—all seated in the Directors' Box at Old Trafford.
Sergio Romero made his debut for the Red Devils in goal, and Sam Johnstone was his backup. Meanwhile, De Gea, Valdes and Lindegaard all watched on with it looking as if their futures lie elsewhere.
