Toluca got a very important 1-1 tie against Tigres in the first leg of their Semifinal series. Toluca was the better side and were closer to getting a win that a Tigres side that continues to disappoint in the Liguilla. Tigres will now have to get an away win in Toluca or Saturday because another tie puts the Superliderers thru to the final.
The first half started with both teams coming out with a strong starting 11, especially Toluca who came with a more offensive starting lineup as an away team than expected. The match started very even with both teams trading possession and going on forward to attack.
