Toluca dominated Tigres to get a 3-0 win that booked their ticket to the 2025 Clausura Final. Toluca was the better team and got a deserved result against a Tigres that lacked ideas and seemed to have few answers as they faltered away game, a constant with new coach Guido Pizarro. Toluca will await the winner of the America vs Cruz Azul series in which they will host the 2nd leg.
The 1st half started with both teams coming out with the same starting 11 from the first leg, the only exception being Toluca going out with Juan Pablo Dominguez instead of Robert Morales.
