Toluca defeated America by a 2-0 score in the 2nd leg of the 2025 Clausura final to win their 11th Liga MX title. In a very even match in a series that wasn’t as great as most fans expected, Toluca was able to get a win and end at three, Club America’s title run in Liga MX. Toluca won their first Liga MX title since 2010, 15 years ago, and is now the clear third team in terms of title’s win in Mexican football. Their Coach Antonio Mohamed won his fourth Liga MX title, all of them with a different team.
