Tijuana picks up Michel, sends Hauche and Salinas on loan to Toluca

Even though the Liguilla Final has yet to be played, the Liga MX transfer season got under way yesterday. While not the most active club, Tijuana did make a couple of moves.

Luis Michel in from Dorados: Needing to replace the retiring Federico Vilar, Xolos seem to be taking a bit of a gamble on Michel. Michel spent the majority of his career with Chivas, making his debut with the Rebaño sagrado in 2003. He was loaned out to Santos Laguna and Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica, but really solidified his position in Guadalajara between 2006 and 2013.
