Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has congratulated Barcelona on winning La Liga and says Hansi Flick’s side deserved the victory.
Barcelona sealed top spot on Thursday night after beating Espanyol 2-0 thanks to goals from Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez.
Ancelotti says Barcelona were the best team but sounded out a warning ahead of the new campaign.
“This is part of football, sometimes you can’t get the best out of everyone,” he told a press conference.
“Barça did very well, and they deserve to be congratulated, because they were more consistent in La Liga and played some very beautiful football.
