Barcelona president Joan Laporta has given a fresh interview after seeing the team crowned champions of Spain and has been looking to the future.
The club chief offered a few updates on potential summer transfers and expects the club to dip into the transfer market to strengthen the squad.
“We have to value what we have, as Deco said,” he told TV3.
“We’ll resolve the renewals and then look at the additions. But perhaps to be more competitive we’ll need to. I know they’re considering additions across all lines.”
Before then, Barca want to renew the contracts of several players, with Laporta insisting Frenkie de Jong is the top priority right now.
