Ansu Fati is still just 22 years old. It’s incredible to think about how many twists and turns his young career has already taken, and sad to see him, once again, go out on loan in search of an opportunity to jumpstart the greatness we know is inside of him.
You can question whether Ansu will ever again be able to reach the level the world expected of him, but you can’t question his natural talent and feel for the game.
That’s what makes his situation so hard to accept as a Barca fan. He was just 16 years old when he made his debut in 2019, and instantly, he captured the imagination of a fanbase that is not easy to impress.
