Spurs Striker Heading For Exit

Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado has travelled to Spain to secure a move to La Liga outfit Villarreal, according to the Times.

The Spaniard, who joined the north London club in the summer of 2013, is valued by Spurs at £11m and is likely to join the Yellow Submarines permanently, although reports say that the El Madrigal outfit wanted Soldado on loan initially.

The two clubs have reached a suitable compromise over the price for Soldado, as the striker nears the end to his unsuccessful two year spell at White Hart Lane.

Benfica and Sevilla have also expressed interest in the Spain international, but Soldado seems to have made his mind up on a move to Villarreal.
