What a day it was to be a Tottenham fan. I'd come to White Hart Lane on Sunday expecting the best but fearing the worst. Spurs are past masters in the dark arts of inflicting cruel and unusual punishments on their fans, and for the first 45 minutes of the North London derby it looked as if they might do so again.
Despite dominating the game for long periods, Spurs just couldn't take their chances.
