Toronto F.C.’s Sebastian Giovinco was named Major League Soccer’s most valuable player. Giovinco, 28, a forward, also won the league’s Golden Boot award with 22 goals and 16 assists, breaking the league record for combined goals and assists. Columbus striker Kei Kamara and Sporting Kansas City midfielder Benny Feilhaber were also M.V.P. finalists.
