La Liga giants Atletico Madrid haven’t given up on their hopes of signing Diego Costa. The Rojiblancos need a top striker this summer and are linked with some top players like Carlos Bacca, Kevin Gameiro, Mauro Icardi, and Gonzalo Higuain but Costa remains Diego Simeone’s first choice target.
Costa has a contract at Chelsea till 2019 and the Blues have no intention to sell the player they signed in 2014 for €38m from Atletico Madrid. The Spain striker didn’t enjoy a spectacular 2015/16 season but still ended up scoring 12 Premier League goals for the Blues.
