Following a stellar season in Belgium with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau is in line for the league's top award.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has been nominated for the Proximus League Player of the Year award in the Belgian second division.
“Selemani Faiz and Percy Tau are nominated in the Proximus League Player of the Year category at the Pro footballer’s Gala!” read a statement by the club on Twitter.
The Witbank-born attacker has had a superb season since leaving the Brazilians at the end of the 2017/18 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season as he joined English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
