A 3-2 win for Gor Mahia over Sony Sugar has ensured they will remain top of the table before engaging in the Caf Confederation Cup at the weekend.
Wednesday's victory was their the third successive after beating Kariobangi Sharks, and Nzoia Sugar previously.
Samwel Njau, making his full Sony debut, denied George Odhiambo in the 10th minute when the winger collected the ball from Samwel Onyango's pass and shot, but the keeper was equal to the challenge.
The hosts continued to have the better chances of the game and eventually made the breakthrough in the 22nd minute through Enock Agwanda, but Gor Mahia restored parity four minutes later through striker Jacques Tuyisenge.
