June 1 (Reuters) - English second tier outfit Derby County have appointed in-demand Real Madrid assistant Paul Clement as their new head coach after dispensing with the services of former England boss Steve McClaren.

Englishman Clement had been assistant to Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, who was dismissed by the Spanish giants last week, but signed a three-year deal with the Rams on Monday, the Championship side said.
