Singapore's AFC Asian Cup qualifying draw

The Lions' AFC Asian Cup qualifying campaign will begin on 28 March with an away against Bahrain.

Singapore will take on Bahrain, Turkmenistan and Chinese Taipei in Group E in the Final Round of the 2019 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The Lions will begin the bid to qualify for the tournament on 28 March against Bahrain.

“We have been drawn against good teams in our group. At this stage, we are aware that there are no easy games and we will prepare ourselves accordingly," said caretaker coach V. Sundramoorthy.

"We are looking forward to the first match on 28 March, and will try our best to qualify for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
