Samuel Chukwueze scored his first league goal in his professional career as Villarreal battled Rayo Vallecano to a 2-2 draw.
The winger, 19, was only making his second LaLiga appearance and had only scored his first ever senior goal in the Yellow Submarine’s Copa Del Rey 3-3 draw with Almeria on November 1.
On Sunday evening, 33 minutes into his second league game he opened the scoring.
Goals from Raul De Tomas and Alvaro Garcia put the hosts back in control of the game but substitute Nicola Sansone’s strike ten minutes from time salvaged a point for Javier Calleja’s men.
