Barcelona’s hopes of landing goalkeeper Joan Garcia from Espanyol are not looking too bright currently.
Garcia has been tipped to leave the club in the summer transfer window, with admirers lining up to pay his €25 million release clause.
According to Relevo’s Matteo Moretto, Garcia “isn’t keen on joining Barça” and has told Espanyol already. He’d much rather head to the Premier League instead.
La Liga reporter Albert Fernández has also posted on socia media to say he thinks Garcia moving to Barcelona is “very, very unlikely.”
Barcelona are said to be keen to go for Garcia, due to his low price, and have even thought about loaning him out initially.
