Ronaldo equals Platini's European Championship goal record

The Real Madrid forward has moved to nine goals after giving Portugal the lead against Wales in Wednesday's semi-final

Cristiano Ronaldo is one goal away from becoming the all-time top scorer in the European Championship.

The Real Madrid forward scored the opener in Portugal's semi-final against Wales which moves him on nine goals overall since making his tournament debut at Euro 2004.

And he's now level with France's Michel Platini, who scored all nine of his goals at Euro 1984.
