Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman confirmed on Wednesday that Memphis Depay is on the brink of sealing a switch to the Camp Nou.
Depay said earlier in the day at a news conference that he wants to play for Ronald Koeman and urged supporters to “just wait, and then the news will come.”
Koeman offered a further update and said the deal isn’t completely finalized yet but certainly isn’t far away.
“Memphis said something about it today and I can confirm that. It’s almost done. It hasn’t been signed yet, but almost. I wanted him last January, but if it does happen now, that’s great.
