Robert Lewandowski has reportedly told Barcelona boss Hansi Flick he’s ready to start Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter.

The Poland international is back in the squad for the first time since returning from a hamstring injury but had been expected to start on the bench.

“We’ve spoke yesterday and everything is going the right way, and (Lewandowski) is good. Much better than we expected, and he’s ready for the bench. So when we need him, maybe he can come in,” the Barca boss told a press conference on Monday.

However, according to Relevo, Lewandowski has made a “miraculous recovery” and has told Flick he wants to start the game at San Siro.
