Barcelona starlet Riqui Puig was full of praise for manager Ernesto Valverde after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Celta Vigo at Balaidos.
The 19-year-old made his second La Liga start of the season in the game and was pleased to see a number of other youngsters get their chance to impress in the first team.
“It’s good that players from the B team are getting chances,” he said.
“Valverde’s a crack as a manager and gives me a lot of advice. It’s difficult to manage this dressing room and he’s doing it really well.
