Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti named interim manager for upcoming Mexico friendlies

For the second time in his career, Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti will take charge of Mexico’s national team on an interim basis, the Mexican Federation said on Monday.

After getting the okay from Tigres UANL, Ferretti is set to be on the bench for Mexico’s next two scheduled friendlies in the month of September. First, Mexico is set to take on Uruguay on the 7th in Houston, Texas and four days later, they will meet with the United States Men’s National Team in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ferretti, 64, first took over for Mexico on an interim basis in 2015.
