Republic of Ireland v Bulgaria Live Commentary, 9/10/19

Well. what a second half that was. Both teams were poor in the first 45 minutes if truth be told, but the sides stepped up a gear in the second 45 with all four goals coming in the last half an hour or so of the match. It was Ireland who took the lead through Browne when he tapped the ball home from a couple of yards out after receiving a nice flick from Hogan. Bulgaria then equalised from a Popov penalty, which was awarded following a challenge by Egan on Kraev. However, Ireland would not lie down and scored two goals in three minutes to ensure they claimed victory.
