According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva.
The Brazil international has just a month left on his current deal at Parc des Princes, and it doesn’t appear that there is a contract extension on the cards for him.
Silva has been with the Ligue 1 giants since the summer of 2012, playing over 300 games across all competitions.
Despite being 35, he featured in 30 games before the French league came to an abrupt end, and might be able to improve Everton’s defence for a season or two.
