Raheem Sterling Crowdfunding Page Set Up to Bring Star Home from Euro 2016

A flustered England fan has set up a fundraising page to raise money to bring Raheem Sterling back from the 2016 UEFA European Championship.

The Manchester City man has been a long way short of his best at the tournament and was hauled off at half-time as the Three Lions came from behind to beat Wales 2-1 on Thursday. It was enough to prompt one supporter, Aaron Bamford, into taking matters into his own hands.

“Let’s face it, we’re all sick of seeing this idiot mince down the wing and fail to deliver a half-decent ball into the box,” read part of the accompanying statement on his crowdfunding page, per Metro, in which he stated £200 will be enough to get the player back from France.
