Pumas president Rodrigo Ares de Parga announces December departure

Rodrigo Ares de Parga has announced that he will be stepping down as Pumas President this December. Ares de Parga sent a letter after rumors abounded in the Mexican press that he had a meeting with UNAM’s dean where he told the dean he would be stepping down in December and that his resignation was accepted. As President, Ares de Parga has earned the scorn of most Pumas fans and the news will be seen as an early Christmas present for most of them, although it still to early to know who will be the replacement.

Ares de Parga’s tenure as head of Pumas has been one of the worst in recent times.
