Pumas broke their streak of four straight ties by getting their best victory of the season, a 3-0 win over Tijuana. It was a very even match at times, but Pumas struck at decisive moments to get a win that culminated with what should be one of the better goals of the Apertura 2020 season. Although at times Xolos pressured them well, Pumas was able to get the three points that has them in second place of Liga MX. They will remain at home for their next week match against Puebla while Tijuana travels back home for a tough match against Monterrey.
