PSG's transfer plans need work after signings of Buffon, Kehrer, Bernat and Choupo-Moting

One year on from signing Neymar from Barcelona for €222m and coaxing golden boy Kylian Mbappe from Monaco (initially on loan) for €160m, Paris Saint-Germain have welcomed the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Thilo Kehrer, Juan Bernat and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting to Parc des Princes.

It's fair to say that not all the quartet were on sporting director Antero Henrique's shopping list at the start of the summer but circumstances, particularly UEFA's lack of clarity regarding financial fair play (FFP), dictated that they became the most realistic targets for the French champions.

On top of that, Goncalo Guedes, Javier Pastore, Giovani Lo Celso and Yuri Berchiche have all departed, meaning that PSG have trimmed significant fat from their squad.
