The Swede may remain the undoubted lead of the French champion, but it must start planning for the post-Ibra era.

For any average player, a contribution of 30 goals in an individual season would be seen as a major achievement. For Zlatan Ibrahimovic, though, only reaching that landmark represents something of a disappointment.

Blighted by a heel injury that has impaired his performance for much of the campaign, he may yet lead his Paris Saint-Germain side to the domestic treble when it faces Auxerre in the final of the Coupe de France – an achievement never before attained in France – but there is a question as to whether he should spearhead the attack next season.
