As it continues to battle with EA Sports' FIFA series, Konami has announced details for the upcoming instalment of the PES series
Pro Evolution Soccer is set to go head to head with FIFA once more this year with the newest version in the series set for an autumn release.
Affectionately known as PES or 'Pro Evo' to its loyal practitioners, the Konami-produced title has long been one of the most popular football simulation video games in the world.
Famously quirky thanks to licensing gaps in comparison to its rival offering from EA Sports, PES more than made up for a lack of an official aesthetic with impressive gameplay, though there is very little between the games any more.
