Perth Glory players were fuming after a stoppage-time equaliser was disallowed in their 2-1 loss to Sydney FC at nib Stadium.
Former Glory player Danny De Silva gave Sydney a 2-0 lead in the 87th minute, adding to Adam Le Fondre's first-half strike.
But in a frantic finish on Friday night, Chris Ikonomidis pulled a goal back in the 90th minute before Brendon Santalab thought he had equalised in the third minute of stoppage time.
However, the goal was disallowed for Joel Chianese's foul on goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne. Replays showed Chianese made the slightest of tugs on Redmayne's arm.
